ATSDR announces the new Tribal
Affairs area on the ATSDR Web site. These Web pages will
address environmental health issues unique to native American
tribes.

The HAZMAT 2000 Spills
Prevention Conference will be held April 4-6, 2000, in St.
Louis, Missouri, at the Regal Riverfront Hotel. This conference
will focus on policies that will foster hazardous material
accident prevention, preparedness, and response activities.
ATSDR's Hazardous
Substances Emergency Events Surveillance (HSEES) - Annual Report
1997 is now available. The HSEES annual reports describe the
public health consequences associated with the accidental
release of hazardous substances.
ATSDR's Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQs) is a new addition to ATSDR's Web site which
provides answers to common questions about the agency and its
work.
ATSDR's Toxicological
Profile Information Sheet has been updated and is now
available with current information on all of ATSDR's
Toxicological Profile publications.
