The most recent report of ATSDR's Child Health Workgroup, Promoting Children's Health, is now available on the ATSDR Web site.

The Minimal Risk Levels (MRLs) for Hazardous Substances has been updated.

ATSDR and CDC announce a Public Health Training Network Satellite Broadcast - Geographic Information Systems in Public Health: Using Mapping and Spatial Analysis Technologies for Health Protection, to be broadcast 12:00 - 2:30 PM Eastern Time, May 11, 2000.

The Public Health Assessment for the South Weymouth Naval Air Station in Massachusetts is now available on the ATSDR Web site.

The Evaluation of Residual Respiratory and Other Health Effects from a Chlorine Release in Alberton, Montana is available on the ATSDR Web site as a Draft Final Report for Public Comment. The slides of the presentation on the study are also available.

The Summer 1999 issue of ATSDR's newsletter Hazardous Substances & Public Health is now available on ATSDR's Web site.

ATSDR announces the new Tribal Affairs area on the ATSDR Web site. These Web pages will address environmental health issues unique to native American tribes.

The Draft Preliminary Site Evaluation - Santa Susana Field Laboratory, Ventura County, California is now available on the ATSDR Web site.

The HAZMAT 2000 Spills Prevention Conference will be held April 4-6, 2000, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the Regal Riverfront Hotel. This conference will focus on policies that will foster hazardous material accident prevention, preparedness, and response activities.

ATSDR's Hazardous Substances Emergency Events Surveillance (HSEES) - Annual Report 1997 is now available. The HSEES annual reports describe the public health consequences associated with the accidental release of hazardous substances.

ATSDR's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) is a new addition to ATSDR's Web site which provides answers to common questions about the agency and its work.

ATSDR's Toxicological Profile Information Sheet has been updated and is now available with current information on all of ATSDR's Toxicological Profile publications.
